Way back in October Mike and I went to our favorite CT farm and picked apples and pumpkins. The weather couldn't have been more beautiful. We picked four bags of apples of all different varieties. I had a lot of fun making those apples into apple pie, apple sauce, apple crisp and then eating them for snacks. I can't wait to go again next year. After picking apples we went to the little farm store and bought some delicious jam and apple butter. On our way home we stopped at a Crackle Barrel for a late lunch and it was surprisingly delicious. It was the perfect Autumn day with my favorite guy.
